Use Cases

Ask once, track until done

Ask Aegis to investigate, run a check, or prepare a task. Follow progress in Workbench instead of losing context in a chat thread.

Operate your local machine

Use Local Gateway for explicit file, terminal, browser, GUI, and MCP actions with tool evidence.

Review risky work

Approve or deny sensitive actions from desktop or mobile before Aegis executes them.

Remember stable preferences

Use Memory Review to keep durable preferences and project facts without turning every conversation into permanent memory.

  1. Ask Aegis to inspect a project status.
  2. Manager plans with the provider.
  3. Worker receives explicit read/check commands.
  4. Workbench shows tool calls, stdout/stderr, and result summary.
  5. Evidence remains available for review.
  1. A long desktop task hits an approval boundary.
  2. Aegis sends a mobile notification or shows the approval in the mobile app.
  3. You approve, deny, or add context.
  4. Core records the decision in the Approval Ledger.
  5. The worker continues only after the explicit decision.

Channels are useful for notifications, callbacks, external messages, and recovery. They are not the core natural-language parser. Ordinary requests from Telegram or WeCom still go through Aegis Manager planning.
